Jessie is inspired by her uncle, who ran a four-minute mile in college, to currently run all three seasons (cross country, indoor and utdoor track). Her favorite race is the 5K in Franklin Park. Being a team captain for her is all about helping her team. “I remember when the captains supported me as a freshman, so I want to be able to encourage my team as well,” she said. Jessie, a junior at Wellesley High School, also looks forward to continuing her running career in college.
